SPECIAL NOTES (PLEASE READ):
(1) Though submissions are open to any film meeting our requirements, the Playhouse Film Festival does favor films which involve current or former Playhouse West members. We do reserve a number of spots for outside filmmakers with no PW affiliation, however the vast majority of our films presented the past few years were in some way affiliated with current or former Playhouse West members, and had Playhouse West members playing a key role in the making of the film (i.e.: acted, directed, wrote or produced such project).
(2) To be eligible for Best Short Subject Screenplay award, the Jury may request a digital copy (PDF file) of the screenplay. The screenplay must be an original screenplay, or a screenplay based on other source material (novel, short story, true story, etc). But it cannot be a remake of another film or screenplay.
